Xoliswa Tini Properties was founded in 2003 by its matriarch Mrs Xoliswa Tini.
This enterprising business woman with a post graduate degree in psychology from the University of Cape Town started as an English and Guidance teacher and practiced for 10 years. Mrs Tini then realized she had a love for business and went on to buy a supermarket in Mdantsane which she kept going successfully for two years before deciding she needed an even greater challenge. This challenge she felt was in the property industry which she fell in love with while in search of her current home in East London. Mrs Tini went on to join an established estate agency and it was here where she learnt the tricks of the trade and trained to become what she is today. From this experience as an agent she decided to go it alone and establish her own agency and in 2003 Xoliswa Tini Properties was born.
Making the decision not to employ anyone in that first year of business she worked single handedly to make a turnover of R25 000 000.00 in that year alone-SHE IS INDEED A POWERHOUSE. She decided that from there, there was no turning back. With her operation still running from her private residence she went on to employ her first agent and then a second she trained these agents herself to become confident and competent agents. Growth being so rapid the lounge became too small to conduct business from and premises at the Amalinda Shopping Center was found.
Today the company boasts its own premises in Tecoma Street in the affluent business suburb of Berea, East London. This is head office.
